Krabi Resort, one of few Krabi hotels with private pools, is the only resort on popular Ao Nang Beach that has private beachfront areas. Pool villas in this luxurious complex are quite affordable and offer generous amenities making Krabi Resort an excellent value for Krabi hotels on beach.
Krabi Resort is one of exceptional Krabi hotels with private pools.

I stayed in Krabi’s Resort’s “Tropical Pool Villa,” which I believe is my first stay in luxury accommodations that included my own private swimming pool. If not, it is surely my most memorable.
Private pools at Krabi Resort have beautiful water features

The private pool is large enough for family fun and is perfect for helping Mom and Dad keep an eye on the kids. I enjoyed standing under the water features for a gentle back massage.
Chillax in comfortable luxury at one of the only Krabi hotels with private pools

My pool villa made up of a comfortable living area, terrace with lounging chaises, ample bathroom with dressing table and bedroom was opulently decorated in traditional Thai décor.
I felt safe as a solo woman traveler in this space.

After walking through my own private gate and tropical garden, and then up a few stairs to the front door, I felt like I was in my own retreat when I opened the door to this sitting room. I felt safe as a solo woman traveler in this space, which included a safe, telephone to front desk, double locks on doors and privacy fencing.
Needn’t leave my gorgeous Krabi Resort room to procure a pre-dinner drink

I enjoyed the mini bar stocked with local beers and beverages. The prices charged to my room were so affordable compared to minibar charges at Bangkok or US hotels. Moreover, I didn’t have to leave my gorgeous room to procure a pre-dinner drink.
Hand-carved architectural features softened the clean, linear design

I loved all the natural wood features that gave the pool villa a modern feel that mixed well with the traditional Thai décor. The hand-carved wood architectural features softened the clean, linear design of the tiled bathroom.
Roomy dressing area fit for a princess at Krabi Resort Pool Villa

The large closets in the bathroom dressing area was designed for long stays. Tile floors, separate shower enclosure and Jacuzzi bathtub were immaculately clean. I made use of the slippers provided.
Not only personal swimming pools, but also indoor Jacuzzi tubs are part of this snazzy Krabi hotel with private pools

The two-person Jacuzzi was modern and tempting, but my Arizona aversion to using too much water made me refrain from filling it.
Comfy bed and bedding make you want to linger at Krabi Resort

The focal point of the bedroom in my Tropical Pool Villa was the bed canopied in mosquito netting. There were no mosquitos in October, so I think the romantic netting was for looks only, unlike places where I’ve slept in Tanzania. The rich-colored teak floors made the bright room feel comfy and warm.
Many windows bring the outdoors in

My room opened to the pool terrace, making the space feel even larger than it was. Windows on one wall looked out to the pool, while windows on a second bedroom wall let in views of the resort’s tropical gardens.
When the lights go down low…

The Tropical Pool Villa is well-lit with reading lamps, makeup mirror lights and romantic lighting effects on the canopy bed. I made good use of the workspace at the wooden desk with a desk lamp in the bedroom.
Inviting lap of the sea draws me out to the beach at night.

The resort’s romantic lighting invited me to explore the beach and the Andaman Sea at night. I enjoyed spending time in the water at one of the most picturesque Krabi hotels on the beach.
One of the Krabi hotels on the beach: Krabi Resort

Krabi Resort is on the northern end of Ao Nang Beach. In the mornings before breakfast, I went beachcombing in the white sands of the beach or swam in the emerald waters. Each morning that I was there, I saw only one other person on the beach.
Breakfast banquet at Krabi Resort

Our stay at Krabi Resort included a sumptuous breakfast buffet. I tried to taste everything during my stay – but the breadth of the buffet made that impossible. You could get a Thai breakfast or American breakfast. I recommend the bread pudding and made-to-order omelets.
More of the Breakfast banquet at Krabi Resort

I think it would be difficult to taste everything on the American and Thai breakfast buffet even during a week stay.

Thanks for your kind words, Kelly! Happy New Year to you!
The fact that tourists give preference to those hotels that provide them with a wide range of additional services is completely unsurprising.
Consumers are looking for value-added services – even when it comes to Krabi hotels. Have you visited Krabi, Helen?
