Overcoming Obstacles
Sometimes travel is about overcoming obstacles. Physical obstacles like late trains or missed flights. Other times its about inner obstacles like fear of the unknown. For me, I have to overcome the obstacle of brain injury. I always found the challenge of traveling to parts unknown to be exhilarating. But now with a brain debility that affects sequencing (comprehending while listening to directions) and being easily distracted (was that my station?) I have to overcome obstacles of my disability each time I step out the door. Here are some true stories about overcoming obstacles:
